Cause Celeb: Elisabeth Röhm makes a promise for education
Actress and author (Baby Steps) Elisabeth Rohm, whose film American Hustle comes out Dec. 13, is helping fund her daughter's education through Upromise.
What: Upromise, a college savings program in which members direct their spending to Upromise partners, including more than 800 online stores and 10,000+ restaurants, grocery and drugstore items, to earn money for college.
Why: "I wish I had been doing this since Easton (her 5-year-old daughter) was in my stomach," says the Sarah Lawrence grad. "It all feels intimidating. Upromise makes people feel that it's doable."
When: Make the Upromise pledge and/or vote for Make the Pledge Keep the Promise $100,000 Upromise giveaway contestants by Nov. 20 to select the 10 winners of the second annual challenge.
